We log API requests to enable billing, enforce rate limits, detect abuse, and provide usage analytics in your dashboard. Logged data includes:

• The endpoint called (e.g., /v1/scrape)
• The URL you submitted
• Timestamp, response time, and HTTP status
• Credits consumed
• Your IP address

Payment information

Payments are processed by Razorpay (INR) and Stripe (USD). We do not store your card number, CVV, or full payment credentials. We receive and store transaction IDs, amounts, and payment status from these processors.

Technical data

We may collect browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and session data when you visit our website. This is collected via first-party analytics and standard server logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Process payments and manage credit balances
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, invoices, low-credit alerts)
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for ad targeting.

3. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Detailed API request logs are retained for 90 days. Aggregated usage statistics (without raw URLs) are retained indefinitely for internal analytics. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

4. Sharing of Information

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Payment processors: Razorpay and Stripe receive the information necessary to process your payment.
• Infrastructure providers: We use cloud infrastructure providers (including Cloudflare and server hosting) that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive fields, API key hashing, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
